Real Cowboy, Real American
Cody Johnson's music was great. I actually liked his music even better live than on the radio. He brought a ton of energy to Extra Mile Arena and even came back out on stage when most of the building had left to sing one last song for those who had stayed. However, the coolest part about the whole show was listening to Cody's love for his family, this country, and God. Cody made a point to recognize every man and woman in the building who had served our country as an EMT, firefighter, police officer, etc. and especially as a soldier. Two things he said: 1) the only reason we can voice whatever opinion we have is because somebody died protecting that right for us 2) when you disagree with someone in politics, religion, whatever, still find a way to love them. I didn't know much about him before this concert, but I'm proud to now call myself a fan of Mr. Cody Johnson and his real, American, God given, country music. Thanks for a great concert Cody.
